○ 2025 Moonlight Tour at Changdeokgung Palace
- During the Moonlight Tour at Changdeokgung Palace, visitors will hear interesting palace stories from professional tour guides, admire the beautiful nightscape of the palace, enjoy traditional music and dance performances with a heart-warming cup of traditional tea.
○ MOONLIGHT TOUR AT CHANGDEOKGUNG PALACE
- The Moonlight Tour at Changdeokgung Palace invites you to admire the night views of the palace in the company of a professional guide.
○ TRADITIONAL ART PERFORMANCES * The performances are subject to change according to the circumstances.
- Sangnyangjeong(Daegeum Solo Music - Song of the Clear, High Sound) : Daegeum (Bamboo Flute) - The daegeum, a traditional Korean instrument, is a horizontal bamboo flute that is played by blowing air through the embouchure. Song of the Clear, High Sound is characterized by its unique changes of tone.
- Yeongyeongdang(Bosangmu-Treasure Table Dance) : Court Dance - Bosangmu (Treasure Table Dance) will also be performed at Yeongyeongdang Hall, which was founded by Crown Princel Hyomyeong. These two court dances were originally presented during Jinjangnye Ceremony, the state banquet for the 40th birthday of Queen Sunwon (1789-1857), the mother of Crown Prince Hyomyeong, at Yeongyeongdang Hall on June 1, 1828 (the 28th year of the reign of King Sunjo). Furthermore, other unique traditional performances will be staged at the hall.

○ Information on the Guided Tour of Changdeokgung Palace
- Gathering at Geumhomun Gate : Place of gathering is changed from Donhwamun Gate to Geumhomun Gate.
- Geumcheongyo Bridge : Geumcheongyo Bridge, which crosses Geumcheon Stream between Donwhamun and Jinseonmun Gate, is the oldest palace stone bridge in Seoul.
- Injeongjeon Hall : Injeongeon Hall which means "hall of benevolent rule' is the main hall of the palace. It served as an official venue for important royal ceremonies including the enthronement of a king, royal morning assemblies, and audiences for foreign envoys.
- Huijeongdang Hall : Huijeongdang Hall, which means 'hall of pleasant politics amid a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere' served as the council and reception hall of a king. Huijeongdang Hall was burned down in 1917 so the current hall was rebuilt in 1920 by relocating the materials from Gangnyeongjeon Hall of Gyeongbokgung Palace. The hall's interior design is decorated in the western style with carpets, glass windows, and chandeliers.
- Nakseonjae Hall : Nakseonjae Hall was used by the 24th ruler, King Heonjong (1827-1849), as his study and reception hall from 1847. King Heonjong led a relatively frugal life. This aspect of his character is apparent in the architectural style of Nakseonjae hall without colorful paintwork called Dancheong.
- Sangryangjeon Pavilion : Sangryangjeong Pavilion meaning 'pavilion in a refreshing site' is a hexagonal building that stands high above the rear garden of Nakseonjae Hall. A daegeum (traditional bamboo flute) recital which is characterized by its clear, pure sound will be performed under the moonlight on the background of the urban nightscape.
- Buyongji Pond & Buyongjeong Pavilion : Buyongji Pond was built according to a basic concept of the round heaven and the square earth in traditional geography. Buyongjeong Pavilion is located at the edge of Buyongji pond and two of its main pillars are beautifully standing on the water.
- Bullomun Gate & Aeryeonjeong Pavilion : After you pass through Bullomun Gate which was built to hope for the king's longevity, there is Aeryeonji Pond and Aeryeonjeong Pavilion, which were built to express King Sukjong's love for lotuses on the pond. This area provides beauty and elegance in relaxing atmosphere.
- Yeongyeongdang Hall : Built by Crown Prince Hyomyeong (1809-1830), Yeongyeongdang Hall exhibits the characteristic style of a house of the nobility in Joseon Dyansty. It served as a venue for state banquets and receptions for royal family and foreign envoys during the reigns of King Gojong and King Sunjong.
- Secret Garden Forest Trail : Visitors can enjoy walking along the forest trail in Secret Garden while appreciating the distinctive atmosphere of the royal garden on the way back to the exit of the tour, Donwhamun Gate.
